How are you raising money for your campaign?

Self-Funded Campaigns:  I primarily “self-fund” the costs of my campaigns.  I have never solicited funding from the community and I do not intend to do so.  However, I have, from time to time, I have received unsolicited monetary support from a number of Mount Prospect citizens which I have been grateful to receive.

Outside Campaign Donations:   As a note, our local Village Board elections are non-partisan.  As such, as far as I am concerned, no candidate should accept money from any political party as it taints the non-partisan electoral process established long ago in our Village.

As a voter, in any election, I would ask the question . . . . how are each of the Candidates funding their Candidacies and are they beholding to anyone or any political organization ?
